Matteo Carbonoli is an Italian industrial designer based in Rome. He was born on 1969 and he studied in Milan and in Paris. He's author of several patents and he's also the co-founder of Rikrea srl, a sustainable design company. Part of his work consists of projects not commissioned by clients, inspired by his own personal research on the ways in which objects are used, on low environmental impact and low cost materials and technologies. The three keywords of his projects are: innovation - user - environment. Its design idea can be summed up by paraphrasing the well-know saying by Thomas Edison: creativity is one per cent inspiration, ninety-nine per cent transpiration.
